Adventure, Laughter & Splashing Fun at Littledown!

Today we headed out to Littledown for a full day of outdoor and indoor fun, and it was packed with excitement from start to finish! We kicked things off at the park, where L had an absolute blast on the climbing frame, zooming down the fireman’s pole and the slide 🎢. He gave the monkey bars a go before joining E on the see-saw, which quickly turned into a giggling, laughter-filled adventure. S wanted in on the fun too, making the game even more lively and energetic! 😄💖

Next, we went for a walk around the pond 🦆. Along the way, we spotted ducks, seagulls, and a variety of other birds. The kids had so much fun playing “going on a bear hunt”, pretending the stony area was a swamp that needed careful trekking to get through 🌊. Their imagination brought the walk to life!

At the end of our walk, we found another playground. L headed straight for the swings, spinning himself around and around, while E explored the spider web climbing frame, carefully climbing and spinning along with it 🕸️. After a bit more swinging, we discovered an amazing tree to explore 🌳, giving us one last moment of outdoor fun before heading inside.

Inside, it was time for swimming! With our costumes on 🩱, the kids jumped into the pool, creating splashing chaos and having an absolute blast. They played games inspired by their favourite characters—pretending to be different Marvel heroes, performing “web attacks” like Spider-Man 🕷️, and acting out Transformer adventures 🤖. The laughter, splashes, and smiles were endless!

From climbing frames and see-saws to imaginative walks and superhero-filled pool fun, today was a perfect blend of adventure, creativity, and joy. Moments like these remind us how much fun exploring, playing, and imagining together can be! 🌈
