From Soft Play to Story Time

After school today the rain was pouring down 🌧️, so instead of the park we decided to head into the Soft Play 🎉. L had an absolutely fabulous time running wild with excitement 🤩! He zoomed around on the dizzy bikes 🚴‍♂️, spinning in circles and laughing so hard it was contagious 😄. After that, he dashed over to the football pitch ⚽, kicking the ball around with endless energy, before giving basketball a try ⛹️‍♂️. He was determined to see if he could get the ball through the hoop, and each throw was full of focus and giggles whenever it bounced off the rim 😂.

Once he’d used up some of that boundless energy, we went to pick up N from school. Together we walked down to the library 📚, where the cosy, calm atmosphere was the perfect change of pace. The two of them sat side by side, working on puzzles 🧩 and sharing their ideas, before settling down with some books 📖. It was so lovely watching them read together, turning pages, pointing things out, and enjoying a quiet little moment of learning and imagination.
